Brent Manley
Author of The Smart Guide To Bridge Brent Manley has been playing tournament bridge for more than 40 years and is among the top 3% of all tournament players in the rankings of the American Contract Bridge League, where he has worked for the past 22 years. He has been editor of the Bridge Bulletin, the world’s largest-circulation bridge magazine, since 1997, and has written half a dozen books on bridge, including one on the popular Precision bidding system. Manley has worked with the World Bridge Federation at world championship tournaments since 2000 and has been chief editor of the Daily Bulletin at WBF tournaments since 2004. His most recent project was editing the 700-page Official Encyclopedia of Bridge, 7th edition, published by Baron Barclay Bridge Supply in the fall of 2011. The project took more than five years to complete.
